Customers begin forming their opinions the moment they pull their vehicles into your parking lot. That’s why it’s crucial to make sure your business’ exterior is clean, neat and appealing at all times. An attractive curb appeal isn’t just welcoming, but also reassures customers that they are making the right decision patronizing you.
If your office is looking beat-up from the outside, here are the top 5 simple ways to help you enhance its curb appeal.

1. Fill in the Potholes and Repair Cracks

As soon as you spot a pothole in your asphalt parking lot, get it repaired immediately. Potholes get bigger if not repaired and cost more too. Also, fixing small cracks help you avoid higher repair costs later on.

2. Repave the Parking Lot

If your parking lot has seen better days and currently looks like alligator skin, you should consider better options than a repair. When the entire surface of your parking lot is covered with cracks, it’s time to repave it.

Repaving a parking lot takes a few days. During this period, you can ask other businesses around you if your customers can use their parking lots.
If your parking lot is repaved with asphalt, it will look dark, shiny, and great, thereby sprucing up your business’ appearance.

3. Restripe Your Parking Lot

Asphalt stripes fade over time from the harsh weather and other elements. Repainting stripes on your parking lot greatly improve the curb appeal of your business. Fresh pavement stripes help redefines parking spaces and shows customers that you regularly maintain your property.

When painting new lines, make sure the parking space between each line is well sized as customers do not enjoy squeezing into tight spaces.

4. Spruce Up with Plants

If you’re the front of your business looks drab and dull, adding a few plants can bring out its natural beauty. This will make your business look inviting and attractive to customers and even employees.

If you are concerned about maintenance, choose plants that do not require regular watering or go with artificial plants. Already have landscaping around the edge of your parking lot? Then you should always make sure they are well pruned and maintained.

My best friend runs a diner in town and is wanting to make the exterior look cleaner and more inviting. You made a great point to repaint your parking lot lines to boost your curb appeal and show that you take care of and maintain your place. When I call her today, I'll pass this advice over to her and see if she can find a parking lot line striping service.

It was mentioned to make sure that the parking spaces are large enough so people don't feel like they have to squeeze in. My father owns a few businesses that have street parking. The lines that indicate the spaces are starting to fade. Is it his responsibility to have them replaced?

I had no idea that you should ensure that potholes in your parking lot are filled as quickly as possible since they can become larger over time. My uncle is interested in opening a health clinic and needs to have a parking lot set up that is easy to maintain, but he is worried that the constant rainstorms in his area may cause potholes and cracks to form quickly. Maybe he should find a paving service that can help him find some durable material for his lot.

Thanks for pointing out that potholes can get bigger if not repaired and can cost more too. I would imagine that any business owner would want to reduce expenses to maximize profits. I think that they should consider getting their parking lot maintained every six months to have an attractive curb while avoiding costly repairs.

It helped when you mentioned that asphalt strips weaken over time from the harsh weather and other factors. My uncle mentioned to me last night that they are planning to build a car park for their fast food restaurant and asked if I have any idea what is the best option to do. Thanks to this informative article and I'll be sure to tell him that he can consult a trusted commercial kerbing service as they can answer all their inquiries and will provide good-quality service.

I totally agree when you said that repaving the parking lot would help fix the cracks on the surface of your property. I think this is something that business or property owners should give importance to. It's because it will leave an impression on passersby and potential customers which will give them an idea if they will go there or not in the future. So the owners should hire commercial paving contractors when they start noticing such issues before they get worse.

I love how you talk about how paint fades over time and having your parking lot repainted can help you avoid issues. My uncle is putting in a new parking lot for the apartment buildings he owns. He's been looking into finding a striping company to help him mark the place and avoid chaos.

It helped when you said that immediate repair would help areas with cracks to avoid getting more damages. One of my parent's friends told us the other day that he was looking for a service that could help pave the parking lot at their restaurant because of cracked parts. Thanks for helping me understand that commercial asphalt paving can help with those issues, I'll tell him that consulting can provide more information about the process.
